A Celebration of Mothers
We have all kinds of mothers in our lives, and they are certainly worth celebrating. Join us on Saturday, May 9th, between 9 AM and 5 PM to celebrate them. Get macarons and a pot of tea for $8.95 per person, while supplies last. Let us know by May 8th if you plan on partaking in our Mother’s Day Special so we can try to have enough. See you there!
A Tabletop Role-Playing Adventure
Reserve your seat for a tabletop role-playing adventure on Saturday, May 30th. Two chances to play: Session 1 will be at 1pm, and Session 2 will be at 3pm. $16 plus tax prepay to reserve your seat. Choose your character name and backstory; dice and character sheets will be provided. All experience levels welcome. Tickets include a beverage, macarons, and a seat to play. Limited to four seats in each session. Reserve by May 29th.

Join us on the first Friday of each month to read Shakespeare aloud with other members of the community. This is a free event, but limited to 8 seats. Sign up ahead of time each month by messaging us on social media, calling us at (423) 464-5013, or emailing us at inklingsbookstoretn@gmail.com. We may have copies of the play in stock for the readings, but bring your own copy if you have one, just in case. The play for June 5th is "Romeo and Juliet." The bookstore will remain open to the public during these events.

How Imagination Tells the Truth: A Conversation with Dr. Chad Schrock
Professor Chad Schrock of Lee University will be giving a talk on imagination and truth-telling, followed by an opportunity for Q&A. This is a free, all-ages event. Limited seating, standing room available. Books, tea, coffee, and macarons will be for sale during the event.
Harry Potter Trivia
Join us on April 16th at 6pm for a Harry Potter trivia night. We can have up to four teams of 2-4 people. $5 prepay per team by April 15th to reserve a spot. Have your team name ready by the time you reserve. If you can’t make it into Inklings to reserve, give us a call, email us, or message us through social media to receive an invoice for your reservation. Tea, coffee, books, and treats will be available for purchase, and the bookstore will remain open to the public throughout the event. See you there!

Joyce Fox, a local author, has written two historical fiction novels: Slave to Grace and Grace Upon Grace. She will be signing copies of her books available for purchase. Joyce will share her background as a writer, as well as read an excerpt from her books. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and macarons will be available for purchase.

Local Author Joel Rogers Book Signing
Local author, Joel Rogers, will be signing copies of his book available for purchase, With You. Joel is an integral part of the Cleveland community, working with youth, the Salvation Army, Inman Coffee, and hosting countless events and concerts. Joel will share some stories, answer questions, and read an excerpt from his book. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and macarons will be available for purchase.

Local author, Scott Morehead, will be signing copies of his book available for purchase, The Master of Robeson County. Scott, a graduate of Lee University, has written a literary fiction book based on both real and fictional characters and events. Scott will share his background as a writer, as well as read an excerpt from his book. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and macarons will be available for purchase, and other complimentary refreshments will be provided.
