Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are a used bookstore that also serves organic loose-leaf tea and organic coffee. Every book in the store is for sale, and we have other things like handmade (by us!) pure beeswax candles, journals & sketchbooks, treats from a local cottage baker, and other little things for sale. We host a variety of events, so be sure to check out our Events page to stay informed of our goings on.

  • We use a lot of table lamps instead of bright overhead lights, so it can often look like we are closed from the outside. Unless otherwise noted, we are open Tuesdays 10a-8p, Wednesdays 10a-5p, Thursdays 10a-8p, Fridays 10a-9p, and Saturdays 9a-5p. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays. We do our best to update Instagram, Facebook, and Google if we have temporary changes in our hours.

  • Pricing is written in pencil on the inside of the book, usually on the first or second page. It will say “Ink” with a number beneath it.

  • We do! We are a very small operation, so we will ask for at least one business day, but up to five business days to go through your books. We will give you a call once we have gone through them and you can accept your payment in cash or store credit. We have a Book Seller’s Agreement for you to read over and sign in the store.

  • We are always looking for classic literature, philosophy, and fairy tales, but we do carry a little bit of almost everything.

  • We have a few rotating treats made by Humble Harvest Bakery, a local cottage baker in town. Treats include but are not limited to French macarons, baklava, French Madeleines, and various other types of cookies.
